Additional resources
This section provides key documents and useful links to support educators using the SmartMove program. While some resources may appear dated, they are the most current available and remain relevant and aligned with today's workplace health and safety practices.
Core documents
- BSBWHS211 Contribute to the Health and Safety of Self and Others- Unit of Competency : Outlines the required competencies, skills, and foundation knowledge for this unit, which is integrated into the SmartMove Certificate program.
- Work Health and Safety Act 2020 : A copy of the current WHS legislation enforceable in Western Australia.
- Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 : Contains the applicable WHS regulations enforceable in Western Australia.
- Getting Students to Work…Safely (2006): A key resource that informs the educational approach of the SmartMove program.
- Student Work Placement Guide (2007) : Describes the WHS responsibilities of educators and host employers (PCBUs) before, during, and after student placements.
